Saying Goodbye
written by CemetaryDrive11:36 PM 12/24/04You left with out a word
It all seemed kind of blurred
Your pain was left unheard
They had no clue the pain you were going thru
You outgrew all the things they told you to do
They told you to pursue your dreams
Not even dreams could help you though
Caught in life's flow
Not even the funniest thing could make your smile show
Left influenced by your peers
You decide not to hear all the sneers
As you walk down the halls
Your not moving at all
Finally you crawl
But once again you fall
You don't know what to do with your strife
You glance down at your knife
This one object could relieve your pain and put an end to your life
You want so desperately to be happy
Your sick of feeling so crappy
You cant just settle on unhappy
You pull out a pen and paper pad
And address a note to your dad
You no longer were sad
Now you were just mad
They had no clue how you were feeling
You could no longer hide the pain you were concealing
You were better on the outside but inside you weren't healing
Now it was your turn to say good-bye to the world
When your parents found the note their sorrow built
You had moved on to another world. |
