Keeping it bottled up

But they were very wrong
They didn't know the pain inside
You held onto for so long
The secrets you kept and hid from them
Afraid the yd go and tell
You didn't want anyone to know
That living your life was hell
Keeping all the pain locked up
Deep down in your soul
Your parents yelling all the time
Wanting to yell back
Telling them to shut up
But you knew better than that
You wanted to put an end to your life
To relieve you of your pain and strife
You wanted to scream out for help
Or to run and hide away
But still you didn't tell anyone
In fear they'd turn away
Away from you and the things you do
To ride life's roller-coaster the whole way thru. |
