» Poem: City Lights
City Lights
written by CemetaryDrive
11:38 PM 12/24/04
I stand there looking at the city lights
Thinking I should jump
Rid my pain this very night
I'm just a useless lump

No ones there to tell me they care
To tell me every thing is fine
I feel like I'm invisible, invisible as air
I'm just here to say I'm running out of time

Welcome to the Planet
Id really like it here
But right now I cant stand it
The thought of walking on this Earth is my greatest fear

Watching the cars drive by
Not a care in the world
Going on with their daily lives
While I begin to unfurl

I cant take it here
I just want to go home
Just being this near
Chills me to my bone.
