What I've Heard

well what's the point,
you may have happy times,
but when the shitty times outweigh the good,
why wait, no one would miss me
they probably wouldn't even notice i was gone
some might be sad,
but most would think it was all for attention
what attention would i get when I'm dead,
it makes no sense my decisions are mine,
i do what i like for me
and no one else
what's the point of saying something,
when no one listens to me anyway,
my words just pass by your ears,
escaping into the world
with nowhere to go
I'm not your average person in the crowd
i want so many things that people would never know
i want to speak my mind and be heard
i want my opinion to count
there's just too much i want to end it
now why would i end everything anyway
I'm not looking for a way out
I'm looking for a way in
not to conform to all the things people want
just to be in and accepted for being me
life is rough but you gotta be tough
fight through the pain
and soon you'll see there's more to this world
than what you've been through
there's always an option a way to escape,
and not by ending your life just fighting
till your done never give up
and you'll never lose. |
