Meaning

A girl sit lifelessly lost in thought and
An etch of flame burns in her eyes
to try and find the key of life
She sits there patiently waiting
to find in herself some meaning
Enlightenment seemed the only way
but belief in herself did sway
why should she believe in God
when she was taught to believe not.
So this girl sits waiting in vain
for a meaning to her meaningless reign.
As hours of time and careful thought
are entwined with her life,but her ideas are bought.
So staring at the waste and filth around her
she sees the way seem to lure those around her
she sees how they are thrown away
and how her futures in jeopardy.
For if she does not find a way,
then her future will stop its sway
and everything will be set in stone,
and nothing of her will be known
for everyone took the ideas she had
and threw her out with the rest of the trash |
