Realize
written by CemetaryDrive11:54 PM 12/24/04As she slowly comes to realize there's fire burning in her eyes,
Her hearts remorse, its goal is set.
To find it quick, to find its death.
Nothing special comes her way, and caused the start of her decay.
She can not fight it for it takes, the will she gave up in her wake.
Nothing stops, or helps her pain, so she slowly begins to fade.
One night when she lays all alone, staring at the moon that shone.
She thinks about the pain she lived, and how she will not be missed.
So she kneels on the ground covered in mist, and slowly but surely slits her wrist.
Tears fall from her eyes, but not ones of sorrow.
Ones of joy, for she will be out of this nightmare before tomorrow.
Sitting there so dormant, swaying to and fro on a swing.
While the light comes flooding by, but not as brightly as the sky.
The breeze it howls, weeps, and whips... So not a breeze and wind is it.
As the girl so lost and lonely the tears from forming.
For her only wish in this bright and shining land, is that of death by a radiant hand.
She looks around a desolate wasteland now forgotten.
Far away from the land of Cotton. Whips of desert sand fly by, entwined with trash so very dry.
As the sun caked the world around, that famished her thought of being found.
As the girl sits in her swing, and watches all the lights dancing.
She sits and thinks of poetry. And how her only saviours' thee.
But as such beautiful words are woven together in her mind... She slowly comes to realize,
That no matter how great an art her mind posses. And even if she is above the rest...
That nay will no one ever see, the beauty of her writings be.... |
