Diamond Dusk

and velvet
when i see you
the brightest starts
against a sky of blue
I see every part
of you shining
like sand on a golden beach...
I see perfect happiness
in my reach..
A more perfect brilliancy
i could not find..
Should i follow my heart
or listen to my mind?
Diamond dust,
shiny and new
Through my own looking glass
i see you..
Through the beauty of the sun,
so ready to start a new day...
Though another night
is on it's way...
When i looked into you,
when i opened that door..
I looked for dull colors
and places I've been before...
But i found diamond dust
in all it's brilliancy..
Against a sky of blue.. |
