Why?

Why am I sitting in the center of a fire that should never have been lit,
All the conflicts, all the complications, leading up to one big fit,
How could I have been so dumb to trust someone as pitiful as you,
Do you know what love is? It is a commitment, a choice.
But all that could be verified is your voice.
I chose you because you were apparent, not knowing every second, you were as sullen as can be.
Why can't you see?
I've lost my impulse to continue on with my life.
You mislead me, straight into strife.
Then someone emerged from the dark and made my life worth living,
He was so forgiving.
He retreived my heart, my soul, my trane of thought.
I tried to obscure but he found me.
He invariably makes me feel special, how can this be?
I've come to a resolution indeed,
He is the kind of guy that every girl needs. |
