» Poem: handsome and alone
handsome and alone
written by melons

He sits among the moon handsome and alone
Is there a place out there that he can call a home?

“The sky’s the limit,” the little people down there say
The“ freak of the town” they didn’t know him, sent him away

He sits alone, the dark dreams he creates
“Freak of the town” he hears the wind, in this darkness I await

His curse his gift is what sent her to death
He was with her until her very last breath

They did this to me the little town people, he waits for them in their dreams
He conjures the most evil the most vicious dark dream, he will hear their screams

He awaits for his love to return, he sits with pride unwonted and unfound
“ Freak of the town” when he finds you, will you be found?
