You Aren't The Only One
written by xmx_satine_xrx01:50 AM 12/27/04A life is born,
But has just one meaning.
A life meant for pain,
And we aren't just dreaming.
We all live in this tortured world,
This Life where sympathy ignores our calls,
A world where blood,
Paints itself on walls.
But who are we to be so selfish,
For others out there,
Have felt worse pain,
And most don't bother to care.
No matter where you go in life,
There will always be that one,
One person who has felt the pain,
Where yours compares to none.
When one was dumped,
Someone else was cheated.
When you were slapped,
Look how the abused are treated.
If you were molested,
Or maybe attacked,
Well some were raped,
Some even murdered and hacked.
So when you talk about your problems,
Think of all the others in pain.
Maybe you could even wish them luck,
And something more to gain. |

I hate when people constantly talk about their problems, when others know exactly how they feel. It almost feels like they are bragging or want attention. So I wrote about It. Maybe It'll give them something to think about. [ View xmx_satine_xrx's Profile ] [ Go to the Poetry Portal ] This Poem has been viewed 108 times
