» Poem: Standing In the Moonlight
Standing In the Moonlight
written by Zandria
02:03 AM 6/23/04
I'm right here, standing in the moonlight
I give you thanks and praise all of my days.
You shall be my guide oh Jesus!
So then I can walk in your footsteps,
All the days of my life.
We will always stick together,
Especially in fair weather.
With my hand in yours,
And yours in mine,
We'll follow the path
With its wicked twisty turns,
Yet we'll never ever burn.
I dance to your music on high,
And give thanks on Easter,
The day that you rise.
For you live in me and I in you
We'll always be united and never be blue!
Here I am Jesus,
Worshiping you in the moonlight.
Here I give you praise,
For saving our lives.
You sacrificed yourself for all mankind!
So blessed are you Jesus,
The Bread of Life!
