Tragic Halo

Tumbled across bloody fingertips
Collected with assassin’s care
Thrown amidst forgotten toys
Lies my tragic halo
It’s stained with my own blood
Flickering gently betwixt soft bars
Solitude shrouds it in pixie colors
Demented throughout the eons
Realms of broken down dolls
Haunt my every waking second
Discreet memories pry open barred locks
The sing song voice of times long gone
Echo in my lucid dreams
Then I’m swimming in your sea
Of decadent red blood dreams
Bereft of you scent and haloed mirror image
Desecrating my beautiful plexiglass mind
Ravaging with dark glitter thoughts
Leaving me with nothing but rainbow tears
And the death shattering knowledge
That you tore off my halo and made it tragic
