The real you

I close my eyes,
And pretend its all ok,
We both hope this pain-filled hurt,
Will someday go away,
This pain is killing me inside,
I know you've already died
But I wont take this lying down
And fall without a sound,
I’ll speak my mind and tell the truth,
While you slowly rot away,
Wishing you could take back all those "words that meant nothing that you didn’t say",
Eventually you'll speak the truth,
But no-one shall believe,
cuz in the past all you’ve done is deceive,
I've been a good "friend" to you,
But you don't care you don’t have a clue,
I don't believe you ever will,
You do this just for a thrill,
Until that one person stabs you in the back,
You’ll keep putting on this act. |
