But now it's been torn apart, Gone just like that
You only lived for a short time
Your dreams they tossed and turned
You wanted it to last forever
But you knew it never would be so
I'm being followed by a shadow
I'm being followed by a void
I'm being followed by an unknown source
..You my Darlin, Are following thee..
You were still so young
There's so much I could have taught you
You took your time, Thought long and hard
..AND WHAT DID YOU CHOOSE..?
How can I try to explain?
How could you do this?
How could you not tell me?
How did I not see this one coming?
..You showed my the signs, I was not willing to accept..
..How could we not even try?
I know there could have been a way..
But I know that you have to go...
I know, You would have told my yourself..
..Only if time would have given you that chance..
There was so much that you went through M'Darlin..
You suffered so before you came to me..
Soon after you did your dance straight past thee..

I wrote this about my dog on the night of her death ofter she bit me and gave me 7 stitches to the right side of my face, barely missing my right eye.
