Thinking

but why is it I can't pick up the phone?
I can't even call her without something holding me back
like some force pulls my hand away
but when I finally get the chance
my fingers pressing those 7-digits
the cold end of the line up to my ear
my hear still races at every ring
she picks up, only to find her delusional,
sorry-ass, piece of shit, no good 'boyfriend'
on this other end longing for her voice again...
I love it when she talks to me less-than
it's really all I am, and don't speak
I know it's just her...and it okay!
I just wish I was with her now
sometimes I think she feels the same...
I wish I had the time to hold her hand
kiss her and just be around her
sorry's couldn't make up for all the times we could have made-out
is that why and when this cycle occurred?
when we're together it's like everything's going great!
but when we're apart, I feel as if it's all just a dream
it's like my mind refuses what it sees
or is it my heart?
when her and I aren't together
I can't tell them apart...
it's like when i've away from her
my vision blurs and can't see this person beside me
but when i'm with her my eyes see
what my mind...or my heart wants them to
my reason for not calling her;
i'm just trying to avoid another hit
to another emotional wound
I wonder if she wonder why I don't call
does she even care? ...not likely...
i'm sorry for a lot of things
things I do and don't
and she knows what I speak of...
but i'm only human
I just wish she wouldn't assume 'I should know'
everyone's a little blind to their actions
and it's people, like her, i'm thankful for letting me know...
but again, I guess i'm just thinking too much
i'm just another person, missing someone...who might miss me |
