What If Jesus Was Gay

One question crosses my mind- what if Jesus was gay?
I know that it seems queer to think
That a man so pure can be in love with a fink.
I hope you're starting to see now
Jesus and Judas were more than just pals.
They seemed too friendly, and they had a plan
That would mkae Judas permanently Jesus' right hand man.
However, there was a flaw.
Jesus was quite the dog
While Judas fought for his own life
Jesus was doing Mary on the side.
She had the dream to be his wife.
Jesus just wanted to get rid of some of his strife.
Judas suddenly saw that Jesus was not the same man he once was.
Turning him in was the only thing he could do.
Jesus now wishes that he really knew
That there would be consequences to the things that seemed so foriegn and new.
It was the worst thing that either of them ever had to do.
So, every night as I go to bed
It is the greatness of their love that dances around in my head. |

This will make more sense if you've seen the newer version of Jesus Christ Superstar. There's a love triangle between Mary, Jesus and Judas. It's that triangle that inspired this poem.
