» Poem: One of those moods
One of those moods
written by twistedmind33

It’s typical
Same thing over and over again
Like a record on repeat
Only it’s not the good kind
Memories are branded into my mind
They won’t leave me to be myself
Whoever that is
I need to talk to someone
But I’m shut out
Everyone ignores me
I can’t put my feelings into words
They roll their eyes and tell me
It’ll be better tomorrow, get some sleep
It’s the same prognosis for an unknown disease
It’s dissolving into me like chocolate on your tongue
One of your guilty pleasures
You know it’s wrong, yet it feels so right
You can’t stop no matter what
You try so hard to, but it’s so addicting
At the end of the day, while I lay down to sleep, I realize
It was just one of those moods on one of those days
