» Poem: Only Fair
Only Fair
written by twistedmind33

I tell you no
Isn’t that what you wanted to hear?
I need you here
I call your name for you to come back
But you can’t hear
I fall down in tears of frustration
Why’d you have to leave me?
It wasn’t what we planned
I need you more than you can ever know
But now you’ll never know
You left
My death is your fault
Don’t blame the other driver
Your face was the last one I envisioned
As my head hit the pavement
And all was lost
Now I’m free to runaway
But I don’t want to take it
I see you mourning my loss
Dressed in black
Just as you always are
I want to hold you like before
But then I realize you left me
And then I left you
It was only fair
