Children

all throughout the world children suffer
adults refuse to hear their pleads
They close their eyes trying not to believe
Tears fall when the young realise
There is no one to help heal their broken bones.
Dreams are crushed nightmares take over their space
wishes fade into the night. Forgotten by the fairy’s
children look into the future and see what
That the present is to be as rotten as their past
Children see themselves disgracing their family name
Wishing not to be a failure. So they take jobs to shoot
To bring a little pride to their name. |
