The name of the road of no dreams
written by CemetaryDrive12:13 AM 12/30/04As I walk trough the valley of dead,
I think about how my life has been.
I was a pure saint,
A big fat liar
A little devil sometimes - No always
Then again, no matter what I was
I was always bloody stubborn.
Sometimes I was so stubborn
That I didn't see people cared about me - loved me, believe it or not.
That's why I'm still walking.
I'm walking on the road of no dreams
Or at least I think they call it that.
Now that I'm walking here
I also see that I was too selfish for my own good.
The valley replays all the stupid things I did.
There's too many
So you only see them once
I think I missed the runaway train to Heaven
Now I see it never comes back.
So I'm still walking on the road of no dreams,
Now I'm beginning to believe the name.
Here I am in the valley of emptiness
But it isn't empty at all
It makes me see how blind I was - once in life.
How I didn't saw how many people I hurt.
People who actually like me for who I am
Or was - for the matter of a fact
Guess what I see here?
Only pain - and that can't be right.
'Cause I didn't only hurt people
I also made someone happy - I know that.
Maybe that's the reason why I can see the end of the road now?
I will be walking...
I am walking...
I was walking...
All on the road of no dreams
Now I know for sure
It's the name for this place. |
