The Power of Love

It's because I loved you.
I did it to complete my task,
Which God already knew.
I prayed to my father,
Asked him for strength
Then met my mother,
My heart in great pain.
I knew I was destined,
To give my life to the Father Almighty,
And carry this cross to free you from sin.
I'm glad I did so,
For if I didn't,
What would come of this world? |
