Regression
written by mattwhatever04:52 PM 12/31/04I’m seeing this girl
She’s so young, so naïve
She’s the prettiest thing in the world
But when I’m with her it’s like I’ve regressed
Back to standing on street corners,
drinking and talking about sex
Why am I so obsessed?
I’ve gone back five years
My evolution forgotten
My eyes filled with tears
I crave adult conversation
But she’s she sexy and amazing
Maybe I’ve got over blown expectations
I don’t think it’s there the link, the connection
Why am I complaining, I’m getting some
But let’s face it soon I’ll get bored then on to
The next one. |
