Tell Me Why

Making me live a lie
With an index finger to your lips
Please,daddy tell me why
Why cant I tell these secrets
Why wont you say things that are true
Because you know you’ll get in trouble
For doing what you do
You tell me to shut up
And make up a lie
Why do I have to keep these secrets
Please.daddy tell me why
I don’t want to just give up
I don’t want to live this lie
Why cant I tell the truth now
Please daddy tell me why
Ive got scars on my arms
And bruises on my chest
Tape over my mouth
All I want is to confess
Keeping secrets
Making me live a lie
With an index finger to your lips
