2005 pt II

something I predicted to happen,
a simple phone call, 2 minutes,
and he pissed me off,
hurt me, and made me feel
stupid, as he always does.
ringing in the new year,
with a fight, more pain,
more anger.
I hoped I would prove myself wrong,
I really hoped I would,
but, 2005 came,
and new pain arrived,
tears at midnight,
while my family rang in the new year
happy, hugging and laughing...
while I sat in my room.....
so alone,
getting a bit of the taste,
of the pain to come
in 2005 |
