» Poem: UNTITLED
UNTITLED
written by whatShouldUsBe

Somehow I knew
something was wrong
like a horror movie's
forshadowing song
came home and found a message
and thought you were lying
I honestly couldn't believe
that you my love were dying
a thousand thoughts
were ready to spill
but my mouth couldn't talk
as my eyes began to fill
thoughts raced through my head
old memories played
the thought of being alone again
suddenly made me afraid
I wanted to go see you
but didn't want to look into your face
knowing that soon
you'd be lowered into a hollow space
now my days are empty
you filled all my needs
I miss you so much already
but you never haunt my dreams.
