Get Rid Of The Evidence

Burn away all your fears
Cut through the mystery
Cry to survive from your tears
Dream of a nightmare
A symbol of the system
Get rid of the loved ones
Although you will miss them
Tell me every word you know
Leave one left to define
The hardest one, being love
Keep it in your mind
Carve out the layers of pain
Stir your hate into a cream
Whisper softly from far away
Then in my ear, just scream
Don't ask me what I fight for
Or even where I stand
Just get rid of all the evidence
So you'll never understand
Give me a reason to live
And I'll give you a reason to die
Show me some way to smile
So I never have to cry
