my trail of blood

blacker than death,
redder than red...
a crimson trail
of life
i have left behind
for you to find
to track me down...
a crimson trail
flowing from my eyes
down my cheeks
to splash on the ground
the sound ringing in your ears
like an eternal bell
a sound you hate to hear
but hate to lose
follow the trail of blood
i laid for you
follow and find
what you sought for so long
dead an withered
all alone...
just this one
crimson rose |
