» Poem: Bodycast
Bodycast
written by IceBound
02:03 AM 1/4/05
look up, reach out, carry on knowing
everything will be alright, time flowing
hand gripped, the needle and the damage done
sorrys fall through, blood stained edge of this gun
none of this pain occurring if i listened from day one
let it glisten in the sun, let the strength come
let it spread its wings, never give in, just cope
no worse death than the death of hope
let emotion run free, heed the signs sent
thoughts form this halo above my head, so deviant
to relinquish my role in this story
'murder be thy name', judgment waiting for me
to scorn me and abhor me, just blind me
from what i see, until i'm free
with her hand in mine, until i breathe...
hateful act, my words to strike down her thoughts
no chance in opening her mouth, time bought
for us, for this, i'm sorry, will she kiss
me goodbye, will she miss, sweet bliss
of tranquil time long past
will this last? her heart, soul, body cast
look up, reach out, carry on knowing
i still haven't said what i'm hiding
