» Poem: No Life to End
No Life to End
written by RainCloud
08:51 AM 1/4/05
She stared at herself in the pool
Silver blood to wash her away
To melt her into ashes
To end her misery

Fling herself across the gap
Still, not a place of eternal rest
Crying, scarred
She grips the claw
The silver to end her life

Blood streams
An open wound in her neck
Burning, burning
Will she never end this war

Against the life
She wants no more
Death she seeks
An eternal hell
Is all she finds

Too weak
She is too weak
To ever carry on
But she has too

That eternal curse
Living death, death to life
Her little crow has fallen ill
Dead upon the next day

She sews her mouth
Together still
They are not
Little crow has done
The one thing she can not
