» Poem: Sorry it's me
Sorry it's me
written by IceBound

why does everything seem to lead to this?
these signs gleam fate, did i not heed them?
my idiotic principles looked down upon
2 weeks straight, your pain clear
why must i over power the arguement?
i have no exuses, but i was unaware
in my wrong doin, i won't speak, seems fair
to wear the confession of correction
so i thought, as one would, in question
do i love more than i should?
surprising truth, you question the same!
so you hide your feelings, your past's to blame
thinking it had to be more
more than, "It's just the way you are"
why did i have to be persistant
i''d rather sit here now not knowing
you hide your feelings from me, not showing
that in fact you are Afraid...
which brings me to your baracade
latest news, last sign
what i feared would happen
so you were frustrated?
i hate to say it, but
you're a hypocrite babe...
sporting your strong soul
your impatience
got the better of you
in trying to take your life
i've given up all hope in me
you thought you could escape, let go
but in return you were rewarded
the hateful realization of failure
i just hope you know why...
your path does not end here, not now
nevermind the cursed souls you obligate
all worth saving, mine irrelevant, shed some light
onward and out on your future
you failed for a reason
so i don't want to blow it out of proportion
i might have had a part in your judegement to suicide
and believe me, this is why...
i'm not saying aword, i will never call back my faith
is us, but i don't want to be that other reason to let go
don't worry, i'll loosen my grip...
i'm sorry it is me you are afraid of
