» Poem: If Only You Knew
If Only You Knew
written by Foiazzy

How can you honestly look into these saddened eyes and not see past all the constant lies? Why can't you see that inside there lives a horrible pain that sometimes I just can't contain. You never once asked me if I was okay. When I reached out to you, you only turned away. Why is it that you don't love me? I thought I was supposed to be your family. Was it something I did that caused me to be neglected? Why don't you see that I feel so dejected? You're my my mother, you're supposed to care. All those times I hurt myself, you were never there. I've given up on making this work between me and you. I'm dead inside...if only you knew...
