If Only You Knew
written by Foiazzy11:05 PM 1/6/05How can you honestly look into these saddened eyes and not see past all the constant lies? Why can't you see that inside there lives a horrible pain that sometimes I just can't contain. You never once asked me if I was okay. When I reached out to you, you only turned away. Why is it that you don't love me? I thought I was supposed to be your family. Was it something I did that caused me to be neglected? Why don't you see that I feel so dejected? You're my my mother, you're supposed to care. All those times I hurt myself, you were never there. I've given up on making this work between me and you. I'm dead inside...if only you knew... |
