» Poem: Who am I
Who am I
written by Sugar Free
02:07 AM 6/30/04
Why can't you see me for who I am?
take me out of this frame
my hair will grow and my cloths will change
but I will still be the same

I am more than just a covering
a window display stand
you must peel away my layers
to find out who I am

My emotions are not shown
in the color of my hair
my feelings will not be known
by seeing the clothes I wear

How can you know my thoughts
by the length of my nails?
how can I be judged
by putting me on a scale?

"to know me is to love me"
Is that how the saying goes?
but to love me
you must know me
thats when my beauty shows
