» Poem: my heart's cell
my heart's cell
written by Poison Ivy
11:20 PM 1/7/05
your voice has clung onto me
and I am addicted
true love is what I feel
and it feels like home
deep within my heart’s cell
I hear the chains are breaking
I am what you’re taking
and I’m giving myself to you

I am finally repairing
from the deep cuts of memory and me
I can now escape the dark
I need you like the devil needs to kill
I’m too obsessed to let you go
solitude has no purpose for me now
do you know how you’re affecting me?
Because I’m waking up. . .
