Loner On Tv

Shes wearing all black
Her brother is a pyro
Her sister is on crack
Daddy's got no job
He takes his anger out on her
She wishes she could just forget
The way things once were
Her mother lives far far away
She calls every once in a while
Making her feel sick to her stomach
Thinking of how it used to be easy to smile
Everyone ignores her
Pretends she doesnt exist
She's just another loner
With scars on her wrist
She cries herself to sleep
She'll never make her old dreams real
She's just a broken hearted loner
They'll punish her if she tells them how she feels
All the people at school think shes crazy
And she's jealous of their loving families
She wishes someone would just let her speak
She rocks back and forth alone repeating "Help me please"
She is just another loner
No one really gives a shit
They all laugh she's the TV now
They laugh when she gets hit
She just wants to break out now
Break out of the television screen
She wishes she could go back in time
She wishes it was all a dream
Because shes just a tv
They love watching her
Rewinding her reminding her
Of the way things once were
Shes gotta break out now
She wants to sell her soul
She wishes she was dead
Or that she could crawl into a whole
Nothing but entertainment
A loner on the tv screen
Shes yelling for help now
They mute her and cant hear her scream
Why is it entertaining?
Watching this girl suffer?
Why do they just sit back and watch
While these people are hurting her? |
