i cry

Tears leak from my eyes
Like falling stars.
Inside I cry
When I lay in bed without you
Is this how it is meant to be?
Is loneliness meant to be my only feeling?
Inside I cry
Where are you when I need you?
To catch my falling dreams
Inside I cry
I watch my star fall.
Travelling down to its doom.
Knowing that this is the end.
Inside I cry
I have had my last hug
Tasted your kiss upon my lips
Felt your warmth against the cold.
Inside I cry
As I say my last goodbye. |
