» Poem: Turned Away
Turned Away

Turned Away
Life can feel simple,
With a breeze through your fingers,
Life's suddle happiness,
Rests where it lingers.
All of my lonelyness,
I can not rank it,
Lying here alone,
Under my blanket.
So many buttons,
Increasing through time,
Waiting to be pressed,
But they always press mine.
Life is hard,
Things never go smooth,
When no one reaches in,
And rips out the truth.
The good things in life,
Never want to stay,
I may never recover,
Until I've Turned Away.
