» Poem: Between Us
Between Us
written by whatShouldUsBe
06:49 AM 1/10/05
The years between us don't matter
and the distance isn't there,
missing you only hurts
when I try to pretend I don't care
I really do love you
wish you could hold me through the night
even though we will never be together
the thought of it feels so right
I love you so much
that I long for you
and the warmth of your touch
not sure what I sould do
as I wait in my bed
staring at the ceiling
trying to get you out of my head
get ahold of this feeling
the years between us don't matter
the distance isn't there
missing you only hurts
when I try to pretend I don't care.
