Untitled
written by Shayne12:54 AM 1/11/05Your eyes are blocked by clouds of smoke
I'll part them, if I may
And i see your clouded blurry stare
No recognition comes my way
I just want to help you find yourself
You seem so lost but never found
I know that you don't want my help
But I can't let you lose your sound
You're doing things to hurt yourself
Don't you see they hurt me too?
You know that you're just like myself
I used to be like you
And someone helped me make it right
Even though they still don't care
I want to be like them to you
You have to meet me halfway there
So take this rusty razor blade
And throw it to the sea
It's the first step to being made
Into someone just like me
It's selfish to want an instant fix
But I want you to be well
Isolation is hard, it's not pure bliss
Although you can never tell
But you don't have to be alone
You have me to cry on, too
You always have my shoulder
When you're down and feeling blue
I want you to accept yourself
"She made me as I am"
So help me help you mend inside
And show you that you can |
