The Number Seven
written by ieatsmellysocks01:16 AM 1/11/05All the time I think about
A world of happiness and dreams
Wishing for something that will never be
Damned to hell, disappointed it seems
A place of sunshine and smiles
And words spoken sweet and true.
A place where we can forget our worries
Im in that place when im with you.
I hate butterflies and flowers and clouds
Its not my ideal heaven
I just want some place that I can be at peace
And maybe finally learn the number seven
Im tired of being teased and hated
For being a monster he created
I want to wake up a brand new girl
In a brand new fucking world
I’ll spread my torn,bloody wings
And fly peacefully in the blood red sky
Forget my sorrow, hope for a better tomorrow
Getting drunk and maybe high
I get so caught up in this world
Even though I know it will never be
I wish that I had a place to rest my head
Without people trying to kill me.
A place of sunshine and smiles
And words spoken sweet and true.
A place where we can forget our worries
Im in that place when im with you. |

I liked this alot. It started off a tad slow, but it quickly picked up. I thin though that the idea behind the title of the poem should be constant throughout.. not just in that one stanza. But in all a very powerfull write. awesome. |

That was so good because the way you wrote it is like you put your heart into it. You should be proud. |
