» Poem: Eternal Suicide
Eternal Suicide
written by whatShouldUsBe

No longer do I live for those who shed my tears
because finally something in this cruel world
has become so clear
the way you look at me
that awful way you smile
never made me stop
and think of you awhile
no longer do I let others
tell me when to cry
so now I can sit and wonder...why
no longer can I live for those who shed my tears
because I am afriad
to ever let them near
I do not wish for pity
or for solemn grace
I only wish to be able
to place a real smile upon my face
for the longest time
I had been worried and forlorn
and for the longest time
my poor heart was torn
but now I've let you go
and I am free of you
I just want you to know
what exactly you would do
but know I don't have the time
to worry about the past
I need to worry about the future
and not let it pass
I have already missed so much
and never again
will I long for your touch
I hate everything about you
and know that I understand
what you would do
what you'd demand
I'm free of you and your lies
my love my hate
my eternal suicide.
