My Forbidden Fruit

On the fenced off tree...
Our moment together,
I tasted you.
Took you inside.
I said I loved you,
I say I love you...
Do you?
Do you love me?
But I had to hide,
Our forbidden romance,
If romance can be,
What it is named...
That soft, secret fruit...
You cannot touch,
Always seems to be,
The sweetest fruit of all...
I had my taste,
And now I crave more.
But you never were mind,
Were you...?
And I don't know...
If I will ever taste,
Taste you again.
So delicious...
My forbidden fruit,
Will I ever,
Partake of your sweetness,
Again?
...Just once more?... |
