» Poem: Thought-crossed Dream
Thought-crossed Dream
written by IceBound

what to do here, now, after
the fact given is one, is true
imbue my flame, in white
in sight, in reach, I sleep
knee-deep, hell or high water
falter, fall through, caution
this coffin, skeletons in the closet
flawless, my love, just you
it's true, would you
believe, you see, in me
we're free! free from the lies
time flys, would I, cross ties
riptide, not yearning
but learning, i'm strong, no more
this shore, your heart, folklore
told of this, naturally believing none of it
it fits, but it's true, simply said
dream that led, far from that place
caught the pace, I sting
what ring? dare I sing?
thought-crossing, 'Ped X-ing'
this risen cathedral, a wedding?

i'm not talking bout a dream i had
i was actually looking at my girl the other day
she was looking at me, she was looking so beautiful, hair wet, eyes gleaming... amazing...
