» Poem: Just like the past (never really clean)
Just like the past (never really clean)

Nothing is ever really clean,
No matter how much you scrub,
There is always something in the surface,
Something you can’t always see,
Though I bet if you looked,
Really looked deep you would see,
All the filth,
Nothing is ever really clean,
There is always something that’s held back,
Some spill from years ago,
Will stain in the surface,
No matter how hard you try,
There is always some kind of germ,
Just like the past,
No matter how hard you try to wash it away,
It will always remain,
You can’t completely push it to the side,
Nothing never leaves,
The imprint will always remain,
Just like the stain,
Just like the past.
