In The End Does it Matter?

Spending time together
Being happy and being glad
Never ever being sad
But some how those days have gone away
Leaving me here to stray
Into the darkness I disappeared
Now around others I am feared
For in the darkness theres no light
And no way for me to fight
The shadows of the past
Making my most painful moments forever last
Blocking my view of the truth
Taking away all my youth
The shadows of the past may go a stray
But they'll return anther day
Bring more pain and torture for me
Chaining my heart so I will never be free
From my life and from my curse
Think about it what could be worst?
To spend an eternity with out any love
Or to be taken from it on the wings of a dove
Never to see that one again
Knowing for eternity you'll have to pretend
That you don't care anymore
Closing and locking and shutting that door
So maybe your heart can mend
Just so one day it will all come to an end
And then what does it matter what you did or did not do
Does it even matter all the pain that you went threw
And all the tears
Through all the years
Will not count for more then it's due
And all that matters is that your remembered by those who love you |
