Melancholy spirits of Malice...

The Dark Forest hides many things....
Things that will always remain unseen,
It extends for miles and miles, with not one hole in the canopy of the trees...
Its so thick nothing through it can be seen...
This is their home, a forest overlapped in shadow...
Demons emerge from the abyss harbored in the thick black mist...
Unholy screams of pain echo across miles of terrain,
The rain pours without mercy...
Wanderers foolish enough to be caught in this forest of fright...
Never again will they see the light, what a pity...
For one is being stalked by a sinister figure swiftly moving through the trees...
The crackle of thunder in the distance and the drops of the rain is all he hears...
Only a blur in the shadows and a hiss of the leaves,
Hints to he is not in a dream...
His heart races, he begins to sweat beads...
The rain makes everything hard to see,
He knows its there, helpless to act he opens his mouth to scream...
And then creature strikes with deadly accuracy,
A slash to his stomach spilling his intestines on the ground...
The man falls onto his knees...
He vomits blood from his mouth... It runs softly, and slowly down to the earth
His hair soaked in water hangs down into his eyes...
The creature stabs the center of his breast,
His head shoots up towards the heavens... crying out in agony,
The creature pins his wrists with the talons on it’s feet piercing right into the wrists...
Pain wreaks this mans body, He wishes the creature would finish him already...
The creature inflicts numerous slashes all to the victims face,
Leaving him seriously deranged...
The rain feels like a thousand needles in each inflicted wound...
And the victim again wished for his ending...
The Creature then snaps and rips his limbs off like they are rotten twigs,
The ground is soaked in blood and water,
The man looks to skies with a cold light in his eyes...
Begging god one last time to let him die,
The plants are covered with decorations of blood,
The brutality of this creature is nothing that will be missed,
The sound of bones breaking and flesh tearing...
The sound of the creature’s unholy strength...
And still the rain falls without mercy...
The plants watch eagerly... if they had eyes,
For they too enjoy this brutal sight,
A blood curdled scream exits the victims throat,
Then the creature slits his neck from ear to ear...
The mans body.. what is left intact falls on its back to the ground,
The black killer picks it up with one hand hurls it above his head...
Leaps right next to the corpse and raises his arms,
Then the creature slashes viciously and swiftly with his talons ripping him to shreds...
All that remained intact was the left half of the mans head,
Countless pieces of limbs, bone, and flesh litter the scene...
Quickly and quietly in the dark and in the rain the creature begins to feed,
Blood and water dripping from his claws, mouth, and feet...
He looks towards the moon, extends his arms,
The lightning strikes and the thunder rumbles...
An unholy screech of victory exits his mouth...
What a despicable beast,
That would take such pleasure in killing …
He begins to dance to and celebrate his accomplishment in the storm
Although the man never had a chance,
The blood soaked tattered clothes is all that remains..
Still the creature takes pride in his game,
The forest seems to rejoice with him in his evil deed,
What kind of cursed place would harbor such a thing?
The Dark Forest hides many things....
Things that will always remain unseen...
