Disillusionment

Life is congested with hopeless dreams, selfish acts and empty promises; with the pitiful faces of those who assume they are pure of heart. The lack of support and rich supply of rejection has lead to the negativity in this so-called free willed nation we presently live in today. Insincere words that so many of those with the mind of naive notion give into believing. Get what you want, lose what you have; these words of wisdom contain the fidelity many of us try to elude from our lives. The fine line between what is right and wrong has been so stained with personal gain that our future generations are being directed into the new era of 'take all and give nothing' perspective. We will have no need for the theories of the apocalypse or armageddon, for ourselves and our offspring will bring on our own destruction. There is no justice when there is no truth. There is no god when there is no faith. There is no hope when there is no aid. There is no life when there is no love. We are trained to distinguish real and false. We are lead to recognize the unfaithful, but also to let the honorable go astray. Our first instinct is to assume, while our second is rationality.
