» Poem: Ode to the Forgotten
Ode to the Forgotten
written by A7XRandolph

Why is it those who have passed on,
The one's who are strong,
Always seem to drift from our mind,
We just can't seem to remember, are we blind?

Dreams, nightmares, they haunt us,
When we awake, we make a fuss,
Sometimes filled with love, sometimes hate,
I even remember one, with mi' mate,
We were so full of joy,
All these things I now know, are just part of a ploy.

Am I the only one who can remember?
Oblivious, everyone around me, but will it be forever?
No matter, as long as I still have life in me,
I can celebrate those who died, with glee.
