» Poem: Free Spirit
Free Spirit
written by twistedmind33
11:11 PM 1/22/05
She smiles without a care in the world
Se laughs without thinking twice
She does what she wants
She loves whom she loves
He tries to make her his own
But she won’t conform
He asks for frilly skirts
And glittery gloss
She gives him torn jeans
And chapped lips
She does this all without a second thought
Because she is free spirit that can’t be broken
He can try as much as he wants
But the only thing breaking
Is the mirror that contains his perfect image of her
