Apocalyptic Lives
written by WildCatHD12:48 AM 1/23/05Living our apocalyptic lives
Sometimes I turn around
I’m staring death straight in the eye
People cry, people die
It’s like every time I blink my eyes
Its another story on the TV
Of death corruption
And even though it toughing
Greed got a hold on the people
People killing themselves
Getting houses takin’ away at 70
I hate to see it
But there is nothing I could do
Resources running low, it’s been like this for years
Nuclear technology, the thing that makes us live
Its killing us slowly, I cry radioactive tears
I never picked my fights carefully
But a democracy I’ll take my pain to government
And get nothing in return, but a truck or cheese
Then they’ll see if I missed paying anything
Make sure that they get some money out of me
