Apocalyptic Why (Lil' D and Me)

Said the apocalypse was close, Jay
And that Bush was the antichrist
Got following, but he’s totally ignorant
He was ‘pose to fix things, I went to LA
Looked like Baghdad, ground zero
Packing AK’s, like Robert Deniro
But it apocalyptic why
Cuz no matter the tears you cry
Loved ones can’t come back
A victim of humans need
To kill themselves
Now listen as I make an analogy
Black people looked at the same
Even though it ain’t 1953,
I hate to say that this is truth
But this is how life is B.
It ain’t a party
Apocalyptic why, in these apocalyptic times |
